Barker finished 2-1 in the 14 team Highland SWCT Event qualifying round, held October 25 - 27, 2019 in , . In their opening game, Barker defeated Krystal Englot (Regina, SK) 8-4, then went on to lose 8-4 against Mandy Selzer (Regina, SK). Barker responded with a 6-4 win over Mitchell in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Highland SWCT Event Championship title, Barker earned 18.524 world rankings points along with the $1,700CDN first prize cheque, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 57th place overall with 83.954 total points. Barker ranks 48th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 37.272 points earned so far this season.
