Rupp/Wunderlin went on to lose 9-8 against Laura Engler/Marco Hefti (St. Gallen, SUI). Rupp/Wunderlin lost 7-3 to Lisa Gisler/Romano Meier (Baden, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
