In their opening game, Kalk lost 9-8 to Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB), droppimg another game, 7-3 to Adele Kezama (Sherwood Park, AB) where Kalk responded with a 5-4 win over Meini Wang (Changchun, CHN). Kalk went on to lose 7-5 against Kellie Stiksma () in their final qualifying round match.
