Comeau responded with a 6-5 win over Trevor Hanson (Oromocto, NB). Comeau went on to lose 6-3 against Jongduk Park (Gangwon, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Comeau earned 8.001 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, moving up 32 spots the World Ranking Standings into 155th place overall with 22.545 total points.
