In their opening game, Richards lost 5-2 to Michelle Englot (Regina, SK), droppimg another game, 8-5 to Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK) where Richards responded with a 6-4 win over Abby Marks (Edmonton, AB). Richards won 9-0 against Teryn Berlando ( Calgary, AB) to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 10-3 against Kaitlin Stubbs (Calgary, AB) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Red Deer Curling Classic, Richards take home 35.593 world rankings points along with the $7,000CDN prize.
