To advance to the championship game, Brown won 6-3 over Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC) in the semifinals of the 2019 Driving Force Decks Int'l Abbotsford Cashspiel in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada; and won 6-4 over Diane Gushulak (Vancouver , BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Driving Force Decks Int'l Abbotsford Cashspiel in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada;
Brown finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Morgayne Eby (Vernon, BC) 8-7, then won 5-3 against Richards and 7-2 against Sarah Daniels (Delta, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Driving Force Decks Int'l Abbotsford Cashspiel Championship title, Brown earned 20.535 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN first prize cheque.
