Epping finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping defeated Kirk Muyres (Saskatoon, SK) 5-4, then went on to lose 7-1 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB). Epping responded with a 6-3 win over Ross Paterson (Glasgow, SCO). Epping won 6-5 against Matt Dunstone (Regina , SK) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Meridian Canadian Open, Epping take home 66.361 world rankings points along with the $20,000CDN prize, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 62.307 after improving upon their best so far this season.
