Ashley HomeStore Curling Classic qualifying round, held November 22 - 25, 2019 at the Penticton Curling Club in Penticton, Canada. In their opening game, Joanisse lost 5-0 to Kirk Muyres (Saskatoon, SK), droppimg another game, 7-4 to Tyler Tardi (Surrey, BC). Joanisse lost 7-5 to Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) where Joanisse responded with a 8-1 win over Jason Montgomery (Victoria, BC). Joanisse went on to lose 8-0 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Joanisse earned 3.563 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 125th place overall with 33.082 total points. Joanisse ranks 97th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 27.903 points earned so far this season.
