Kim responded with a 6-5 win over Seina Nakajima (Nagano, JPN) to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 5-3 against Daniela Jentsch (Füssen, GER) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kim earned 34.186 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Canad Inns Women's Classic.
