Nyman responded with a 6-5 win over Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Nyman earned 4.924 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 90th place overall with 45.674 total points. Nyman ranks 90th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 45.674 points earned so far this season.
