Jon Solberg (Whitehorse, YK) is set to play Solberg in the Final Solberg advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. To advance to the championship game, Solberg won 5-3 over Thomas Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK) in the semifinals of the 2019 Yukon Mens Curling Championship in Whitehorse, Yukon;

Solberg finished 3-1 in the 3 team Yukon Mens Curling Championship qualifying round, held February 7 - 10, 2019 in , . In their opening game, Solberg defeated Pat Paslawski (Whitehorse, YK) 11-4, then won 8-6 against Scoffin and 9-8 against Paslawski. Solberg went on to lose 6-3 against Scoffin in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Yukon Mens Curling Championship Championship title, Solberg earned 2.250 world rankings points. Solberg move up 182 spots after posting a net gain of 1.997 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 391st overall with 2.250 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
