In their opening game, Cyr defeated Shannon Fenelon (Fredericton, NB) 13-1, then went on to lose 8-6 against Rene Comeau (Fredericton, NB). Cyr lost 8-4 to Terry Odishaw (Moncton, NB) where Cyr responded with a 7-1 win over Ryan Cain (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

Cyr earned 3.437 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the NB Tankard Preliminaries. For week 22 of the event schedule, Cyr did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
