Liu went on to lose 8-7 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Liu earned 11.870 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships. Liu move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of 9.876 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 48th overall with 88.619 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
