Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN) finished 5-1 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Liu defeated Min Ji Kim (Chuncheon City, KOR) 6-5, then won 25-0 against Mubarkah Al-Abdulla (Doha, QAT) and 9-0 against Sitora Alliyarova (Almaty, KAZ). Liu won 12-3 against Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong, HKG), then won 12-1 against Tahli Gill (Brisbane, AUS). Liu went on to lose 8-7 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Liu earned 11.870 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships. Liu move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of 9.876 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 48th overall with 88.619 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Liu ranks 30th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 74.956 points earned so far this season.
