Tom Wharry (Buckingham, QC) finished 1-2 in the 16 team Experience Curling Classic qualifying round, held November 7 - 11, 2018 at the Baie d'Urfé Curling Club in Baie d'Urfé, Canada. In their opening game, Wharry defeated Daniel Gregoire (Montreal, QC) 6-4, then went on to lose 9-4 against Frank O'Driscoll (Ottawa, ON). Wharry lost 8-1 to Steven Munroe (Levis, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Wharry earned 0.629 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 250th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 8.005 total points. Wharry ranks 251st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.500 points earned so far this season.
