Nina Roth (Chaska, USA) finished 2-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roth lost 9-2 to Yilun Jiang (Harbin, CHN), droppimg another game, 7-5 to Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN). Roth lost 8-7 to Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, CAN). Roth lost 7-3 to Jiang where Roth responded with a 9-4 win over Fujisawa. Roth won 6-5 against Jones in their final qualifying round match.

Roth earned 6.356 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 39 of the event schedule, Roth did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Roth ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
