Glukhov won 5-3 against Kroy Nernberger (Madison, USA). Glukhov went on to lose 10-3 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, CAN). Glukhov responded with a 6-3 win over Xiu Yue Ma (Beijing, CHN). Glukhov won 6-5 against Fredrik Nyman (Stockholm, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
