Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) finished 5-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hasselborg defeated Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN) 6-3, then won 7-4 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) and 6-4 against Jennifer Dodds (Stirling, SCO). Hasselborg won 9-2 against Liu. Hasselborg went on to lose 7-2 against Fujisawa. Hasselborg responded with a 8-1 win over Dodds in their final qualifying round match.
