Fesser finished 2-2 in the 10 team Medicine Hat Charity Classic qualifying round, held October 19 - 22, 2018 at the Medicine Hat Curling Club in , Canada. In their opening game, Fesser defeated Silvernagle 6-5, then went on to lose 8-4 against Candace Chisholm (Carlyle, SK). Fesser lost 6-4 to Chantele Broderson (Edmonton, AB) where Fesser responded with a 7-4 win over Marthaller in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Medicine Hat Charity Classic Championship title, Fesser earned 23.840 world rankings points along with the $3,200CDN first prize cheque. Fesser move up 28 spots after posting a net gain of 20.126 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 69th overall with 54.635 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Fesser ranks 74th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 24.918 points earned so far this season.
