In their opening game, Schneider lost 5-2 to Adam Cseke (Penticton, BC), droppimg another game, 7-6 to Daniel Wenzek (Langley, BC) where Schneider responded with a 6-5 win over Brayden Carpenter (New Westminster, BC). Schneider went on to lose 5-4 against Cody Tanaka (Richmond, BC). Schneider lost 10-0 to Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Schneider earned 0.759 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 28 spots the World Ranking Standings into 353rd place overall with 2.072 total points. Schneider ranks 85th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.759 points earned so far this season.
