Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) lost 4-1 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Boost National, held December 11 - 16, 2018 in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland / Labrador. To advance to the championship game, Einarson won 8-3 over Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2018 Boost National in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland / Labrador; and won 8-3 over Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the quarterfinals.
 
Einarson finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson defeated Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) 5-2, then won 9-4 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB). Einarson went on to lose 7-5 against Jacqueline Harrison (Toronto, ON). Einarson lost 6-5 to Homan in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Boost National, Einarson take home 64.588 world rankings points along with the $18,000CDN prize, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 45.159 after improving upon their best so far this season. Einarson ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 411.290 points earned so far this season.
