Ross Paterson (Glasgow, SCO) qualified for the 2018 Oakville Fall Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-4 against Matt Dunstone (Regina, SK). of the 2018 Oakville Fall Classic in Oakville, Ontario, Canada;

Paterson finished 3-1 in the 21 team Oakville Fall Classic qualifying round, held August 30 - September 2, 2018 at the Oakville Curling Club in Oakville, Canada. Paterson responded with a 7-1 win over Dave Pallen (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
