Epping finished 5-0 in the 24 team AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic qualifying round, held September 13 - 16, 2018 at the Cornwall Curling Club in Cornwall, Canada. In their opening game, Epping defeated Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED) 7-1, then won 10-3 against Denis Cordick (Georgetown, ON) and 10-5 against Scott Hill (Montreal, QC). Epping won 7-2 against Jean-Sebastien Roy (Saguenay, QC), then won 7-2 against Glenn Howard (Penetanguishe, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic Championship title, Epping earned 65.156 world rankings points along with the $15,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 6th place overall with 339.213 total points. Epping ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 94.542 points earned so far this season.
