StuSells Toronto Tankard qualifying round, held October 5 - 9, 2017 at the High Park Club in Toronto, Canada. In their opening game, Tuck Jr. lost 8-4 to Mike Harris (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON), droppimg another game, 7-5 to Tanner Horgan (Northern Ontario) where Tuck Jr. responded with a 7-6 win over Glenn Howard (Islington, ON). Tuck Jr. won 9-3 against John Willsey (Ottawa, ON). Tuck Jr. went on to lose 9-3 against Greg Balsdon (Kingston, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Tuck Jr. earned 2.192 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 9 of the event schedule, Tuck Jr. did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tuck Jr. ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
