Luke Carson (Lanarkshire, SCO) finished 3-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Carson defeated Craig Joiner (Forfar, SCO) 10-4, then went on to lose 9-7 against Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO). Carson responded with a 7-6 win over Cameron McNay (Lockerbie, SCO). Carson won 7-3 against Ben Cormack (Kinross, SCO). Carson went on to lose 5-3 against Cameron Bryce (Border, SCO). Carson lost 10-5 to David Baird (Edinburgh, SCO). Carson lost 7-5 to James Craik (Forfar, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Carson earned 0.577 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, Carson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Carson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
