Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT) finished 5-1 in the 4-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCarville defeated Larissa Mikkelsen (Thunder Bay, NONT) 9-2, then won 10-3 against Hailey Beaudry (Thunder Bay, NONT). McCarville went on to lose 10-7 against Tracy Fleury (Sudbury, NONT). McCarville responded with a 8-4 win over Mikkelsen. McCarville won 9-3 against Beaudry, then won 5-4 against Fleury in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Northern Ontario Scotties Championship title, McCarville earned 7.560 world rankings points. For week 23 of the event schedule, McCarville did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McCarville ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
