Manuel went on to lose 7-6 against Jackson. Manuel responded with a 8-5 win over Owen Purcell (Halifax, NS). Manuel won 6-1 against Jackson, then won 8-5 against Abraham and 6-5 against Jackson in their final qualifying round match.
