Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON) qualified for the 2016 Oakville OCT Fall Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-3 against Jamie Sinclair (Blaine, USA). of the 2016 Oakville OCT Fall Classic in Oakville, Ontario, Canada;

Tippin finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tippin defeated Mallory Kean (Kitchener, ON) 3-2, then won 10-1 against Cory Christensen (Blaine, USA) and 6-5 against Heather Heggestad (Thornhill, ON). Tippin went on to lose 8-3 against Ontario's Jacqueline Harrison in their final qualifying round match.
