Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT) finished 5-1 in the 4-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Galusha defeated Deb Stanley (Hay River, NT) 11-1, then won 12-3 against Judy Goucher (Hay River, NT) and 15-1 against Lora Browne (Fort Smith, NT). Galusha went on to lose 9-5 against Browne. Galusha responded with a 14-1 win over Goucher. Galusha won 10-2 against Stanley in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the NWT Scotties Championship Championship title, Galusha earned 2.625 world rankings points. For week 24 of the event schedule, Galusha did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Galusha ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
