In their opening game, Ackland defeated Megan Smith (Sudbury, NONT) 8-5, then won 8-5 against Laurie St-Georges (Laval, QC) and 7-4 against Zoey Walsh (Hay River, NT). Ackland won 15-5 against Sadie Pinksen (Iqaluit, NU). Ackland went on to lose 8-6 against Justine Comeau (Fredericton, NB). Ackland responded with a 9-6 win over Selena Sturmay (Airdrie, AB). Ackland won 8-6 against Courtney Auld (Toronto, ON), then won 6-4 against Kourtney Fesser (Saskatoon, SK). Ackland went on to lose 8-5 against Sarah Daniels (New Westminster, BC). Ackland lost 8-6 to Mary Fay (Chester, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
