Breen finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Breen defeated Emily Dwyer (Halifax, NS) 4-3, then went on to lose 5-4 against Colleen Jones (Halifax, NS). Breen responded with a 7-4 win over Christie Gamble (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
