Brown won 12-5 against Chrissy Cadorin (Guelph, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the StuSells Toronto Tankard Championship title, Brown earned 29.506 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 32nd place overall with 83.542 total points. Brown ranks 17th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 67.654 points earned so far this season.
