Mike Farbelow (Blaine, MN) won 7-6 over Korey Dropkin (Blaine, USA) in the Final of the St. Paul Cash Spiel, held October 10 - 12, 2014 at the St. Paul Curling Club in St. Paul, . To advance to the championship game, Farbelow won 5-3 over Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) in the semifinals of the 2014 St. Paul Cash Spiel in St. Paul; and won 4-3 over Ontario's Jeff Currie in the quarterfinals.
 
Farbelow finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Farbelow defeated Jake Vukich (Bemidji, MN) 8-2, then won 6-4 against Scott Madams (Winnipeg, MB). Farbelow went on to lose 9-3 against Dropkin. Farbelow responded with a 8-2 win over Jed Brundidge (St. Paul, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the St. Paul Cash Spiel Championship title, Farbelow earned 4.000 world rankings points along with the $4,493CDN first prize cheque, moving up 20 spots the World Ranking Standings into 75th place overall with 13.684 total points. Farbelow ranks 44th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.250 points earned so far this season.
