7-6 to Jill Thurston (Winnipeg, MB), droppimg another game, 7-2 to Kristy McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) where Shumay responded with a 9-4 win over Saskatchewan's Chelsey Peterson. Shumay went on to lose 8-6 against Jessica Hanson (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
