Lambden finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lambden defeated Libbus 6-1, then won 6-4 against Duncan Chisholm (Calgary, AB). Lambden went on to lose 8-3 against Blandford in their final qualifying round match.
