Kovaleva lost 8-7 to Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) where Kovaleva responded with a 6-3 win over Oona Kauste (Aland, FIN). Kovaleva won 8-7 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO), then won 12-5 against Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kovaleva earned 24.898 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Le Gruyere AOP European Curling Championships, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 17th place overall with 210.699 total points. Kovaleva ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 178.640 points earned so far this season.
