Ayumi Ogasawara (Kariuzawa, JPN) lost 6-3 to Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI) in the Final of the Kariuzawa International, held April 18 - 21, 2013 in Kariuzawa, Japan.

Ogasawara finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ogasawara defeated Kai Tsuchiya (Miyota, JPN) 7-3, then won 8-5 against Shoko Watanabe (Tokyo, JPN) and 7-0 against Feltscher. Ogasawara went on to lose 11-3 against Eun Jung Kim ( Gyeongbuk Uiseong,, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
