In their opening game, MacInnes lost 6-3 to Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK), droppimg another game, 8-6 to Satsuki Fujisawa (Nagano, JPN) where MacInnes responded with a 7-5 win over Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT). MacInnes won 7-3 against Cassie Potter (St. Paul, MN), then won 6-4 against Crystal Webster (Calgary, AB). MacInnes went on to lose 7-5 against Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
MacInnes earned 5.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 36 spots the World Ranking Standings into 72nd place overall with 9.140 total points. MacInnes ranks 32nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.250 points earned so far this season.
