Scott won 7-5 against Barb Spencer (Winnipeg, MB), then won 5-4 against Laura Crocker (Edmonton, AB) and 5-4 against Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB). Scott went on to lose 8-2 against Ott. Scott responded with a 7-5 win over Allison MacInnes (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Scott earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 21st place overall with 82.000 total points.
