Roy finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roy defeated Colin Harty (Nanton, AB) 6-4, then won 7-4 against Keats. Roy went on to lose 7-3 against Parsons. Roy responded with a 5-4 win over Brayden Power (Edmonton, AB). Roy won 4-3 against Keats in their final qualifying round match.
