Bernard lost 9-7 to Heather Jensen (Airdrie, AB) where Bernard responded with a 11-2 win over Norma Brown (Strathmore, AB). Bernard won 8-2 against Amy Nixon (Calgary/Red Deer, AB), then won 7-4 against Jensen. Bernard went on to lose 8-7 against Lisa Eyamie (High River, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
