Brandon Corbett (Rochester, NY) needed tiebreakers to advance to the playoffs, failed to advance to the playoff round, losing in the tiebreaker round, Corbett finished 0-2 in the 32 team Brantford Nissan Classic qualifying round, held November 29 - December 2, 2012 at the Brant Curling Club in Brantford, Canada. In their opening game, Corbett lost 9-4 to John Grant (Toronto, ON), droppimg another game, 9-5 to Kris Blonski (Hamilton, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 16 of the event schedule, Corbett did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 183rd to 185th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 4.775 total points. Corbett ranks 162nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.250 points earned so far this season.
