King went on to lose 8-7 against David Nedohin (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the The Shoot-Out @ the Saville Centre Championship title, King earned 14.000 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 35 spots the World Ranking Standings into 44th place overall with 24.443 total points. King ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.000 points earned so far this season.
