Law finished 5-2 in the 32 team Red Deer Curling Classic qualifying round, held November 4 - 7, 2011 in , . In their opening game, Law defeated Chelsea Carey (Morden, MB) 7-5, then won 6-4 against Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB) and 7-4 against Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB). Law went on to lose 8-6 against Homan. Law responded with a 8-3 win over Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB). Law went on to lose 6-5 against Mirjam Ott (Switzerland). Law responded with a 9-4 win over Amber Holland (Kronau, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
