Amber Holland (Kronau, CAN) lost 7-5 to Sweden's Anette Norberg in the Final of the Capital One World Womens Curling Championship, held March 18 - 27, 2011 in Esbjerg, Denmark.
 
Holland finished 7-4 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Holland defeated Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN) 8-6, then went on to lose 9-4 against Russia's Liudmilla Privivkova. Holland lost 8-5 to Denmark's Lene Nielsen. Holland lost 7-3 to Anna Sloan (Lockerbie, SCO) where Holland responded with a 7-5 win over Norway's Linn Githmark. Holland won 7-4 against Czech Republic's Anna Kubeskova, then won 7-6 against Patti Lank (Lewiston, USA) and 7-4 against Mirjam Ott (Davos, SUI). Holland went on to lose 5-4 against Sweden's Anette Norberg. Holland responded with a 9-2 win over Korea's Ji-Sun Kim. Holland won 8-6 against Germany's Andrea Schopp in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Capital One World Womens Curling Championship, Holland take home 30.000 world rankings points, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 24 after improving upon their best so far this season. Holland ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 171.920 points earned so far this season.
