Kaufman finished 5-1 in the 32 team Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic qualifying round, held October 15 - 18, 2010 at the Medicine Hat Curling Club in , Canada. In their opening game, Kaufman lost 7-6 to Jerri Pat Armstrong-Smith (British Columbia), then responded with a 9-0 win over Michelle Corbeil (Lloydminster, AB). Kaufman won 8-5 against Arlene Keck (Alberta), then won 7-5 against Crystal Webster (Calgary, AB) and 6-4 against Lisa Johnson (Edmonton, AB). Kaufman won 7-4 against Makichuk in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic Championship title, Kaufman earned 19.840 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 29th place overall with 47.353 total points. Kaufman ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 41.650 points earned so far this season.
