David Bohn (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2011 DEKALB Superspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Vic Peters (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2011 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;
Bohn finished 3-2 in the 16 team DEKALB Superspiel qualifying round, held March 17 - 21, 2011 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. In their opening game, Bohn defeated Lu-An Chen (Harbin, CHN) 5-3, then won 6-3 against Pete Fenson (Bemidji, MN). Bohn went on to lose 7-3 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Bohn lost 8-2 to Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB) where Bohn responded with a 9-0 win over Ryan Hyde (Portage la Prairie, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
Bohn earned 5.400 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the DEKALB Superspiel, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 33rd place overall with 66.430 total points. Bohn ranks 61st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.380 points earned so far this season.
