Colleen Madonia (Thornhill, ON) finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Madonia defeated Allison Ross (Ormstown, QC) 8-3, then went on to lose 10-5 against Cathy Auld (Toronto, ON). Madonia responded with a 6-4 win over Jacqueline Harrison (Alliston, ON). Madonia won 7-4 against I Scott (Brampton, ON). Madonia went on to lose 6-4 against Karen Bell (Listowel, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week of the event schedule, Madonia did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Madonia ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
