Purple Hearts

Maybe its just me but do the Purple Hearts on the men's jackets look like they are stenciled on? And if so do the players get real fabric ones that have been given in the past?Also it looks like 5th players have hearts on their jackets as well, is that new? Any help from someone that has got a first hand look would be great.

Both the purple heart and the provincial crest are sublimated into the material. The players did receive purple hearts when they won their provinces but all the jackets are printed in the same manner.

I liked it better when teams stacked their purple hearts one after another on their sleeve...That seemed to stop somewhere around 2007ish or so?
