A team is trying to go and represent the USA at the World University Games. USCA/USOC funding as fallen victim to the budget ax.

Thoughts about the USCA/USOC funding can run in many different directions: Juniors should come first or too bad there isn't more funding or the USOC should realize that curling deserves a bigger piece of the pie or if it costs that much we never should have gone because lots of Junior teams could have split up that big pile of cash. Whatever your views, you probably would like to see a USA team entered. Therefore, here is a link to donate travel money to the team:

I understand where you are coming from Tuck, and I did donate last year to some junior team going to worlds [do not remember details]. But we have Dave Carlson telling us in Curling News that we need to donate $$ so USA will no longer embarrass him at world play and we have you asking that we donate $$ to help our juniors go to WUG. And how about donating $$ to help Mixed Doubles and Seniors teams go to world, as I did last year? There has to be a better solution.

Ben Tucker (who has donated to Mixed Doubles and Seniors in the past...ain't sayin' nothin' 'bout right and wrong...just supporting a good team of good kids...I think that WUGs is too expensive and we should never totally fund that program again unless budgets wildly free up)
