figured i would open this thread since junior playdowns are taking place now. United states and will decided their reps this weekend and the pacific junior championships are happening now. canada will decide next weekend. I havent been able to find to much info on what other teams the other countries are sending which is weird because usually the europeans are done first.

edit: just saw that scotland will also be deciding their reps this week

so far teams known:

Men:

Sweden - Fredrik Nyman (returns from last year)
Russia - Artur Ali(just an assumption but given russia's tendency to focus on one team and send them out to every championship they qualify for and the fact that they won the junior challenge to get there i would say its a safe bet).

Women:
Sweden - Isabella Wrana (also returns from last year)
England - Hetty Garnier (again, its not confirmed but a safe bet as they won the european junior challenge)

This will be the last one since world juniors will have a world qualification round next year. Interestingly, the WCF will be running that as well as all the adult European qualifiers, too. Wouldn't be surprised if all regionals are thrown into world qualifiers in a few more years. Hello relegation rounds B, C and soon also D, too, for the adults The USCA's overwhelming worry about placing 9th or 10th at any worlds suddenly makes sense because that will mean automatic demotion to B level.
